anyone success with adding days/PH to nonexpire tickets?

has anyone had success adding extra days or adding PH to unused nonexpire tickets, such as those bought from UT? I bought some 8 days (all UT had left) and was wondering if anyone had had success in upgrading to add extra days or from a nonPH to a PH since WDw stopped issuing nonexpire tickets.
