I am going to WDW next week. I visit this site numerous times a day. But, I know after the trip. I probably will avoid the site. Just because I am sad I am home and jealous of those going. :guilty: :confused3

Just wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

Yes ZIPBAGS, I felt the same way for the first week or so after I was home, but now I am back on and enjoying it again. I enjoy being able to help other people after everyone else was so helpful to me. Of course, I'm also going back in 6 months so that helps :goodvibes . It was our first stay on site and now I feel like I can really relate to things people are talking about, so don't worry, those feelings will pass :earsgirl: Plus, you can live vicariously through everyone ;)

If it helps, I'm jealous that your going next week! ;)
Don't abandon us....come back and let us know how great your trip was!

I actually spend more time here after trips to give my input and answer questions. I always enjoy first hand info from people and I try to reciprocate.

After trips, I skip out on the site for about a month, because it only makes me miss the place more (and I go every other month). But after about a month, I'm back on regularly. It's also refreshing to step away for a while, come back and see so many new threads.

YEP! Can't stand reading about other folks going to WDW when I just get back, it is WAAAAAAAAY too depressing. There is a mourning period I need to go through before I can get back into the Disney community again.

Once the mourning period is over, I'm back to post my trip reports! ;)

If they really stopped coming here, would they be able to post????

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Okay, just messing with ya. ;)

I came back to give first hand feedback to anyone that wants it then I skip out until its time to start planning our next trip. It’s a vicious cycle :teeth:

I always come back, The more I see others planning the more I want to save to go again.

I did last time. This time I've having fun telling people about my trip and answering questions, like others did for me before I went.

The fact that we have a 12/06 trip planned is also helping. Is it crazy that I am already in planning mode?

ME. I always leave the boards after our trip. I just miss the whole thing too much (the excitement of planning, the anticipation...). Then either family/friends will start planning a trip & come to "their expert" for advice & I'll be forced back, or :cool1: we'll decide it's time to plan a trip!! Then, I'm here every day again until we go!!

I stayed away for about 4 months after my trip. I just didn't see the point because we were not going back until we had children. Well that is all changed now and in 2006 we are going once and every year after that we are going twice!

I have to say that I am a deserter. :guilty: Sorry, but I get so wrapped up in the boards that I neglect alot of other things, and I just have to finally get back to them.

We leave next week also    .....

and school starts as soon as we get back, and I go back to work so I'll hopefully have time to post a trip report and hang out a little, but life beckons. :wave2:

Happy planning everyone and thanks for always listening.

I totally agree. I have been back for 2 weeks already and my chang jar has already begun to fill. Once the kids have returned to school, DH and I will sit down and decide of a date for our next trip...

ONce I get enough money in my jar for my first night deposit, I will be calling CRO to make my reservation.

I got so many helpful tips while planning my last trip, I don't want to miss out on anything planning the next......even though I am having an attack of the Disney Blues right now.

I get the shakes even thinking about not visiting the Dis board daily! Since we don't have a lap top when we are at WDW I don't get to visit to boards, but the day after we get home I'm back. I would probably be back the day we get home but since the plane doesn't get in till 10 p.m. and the dog demands attention and the cat demands sucking up to... Next day is the soonest I can. :rotfl:

I have to stop coming for a little while, otherwise I start planning another trip!

No, I come right back...I'm afraid if I stay away, I'll miss some great tips or suggestions for things to do or see on the next trip...and there is always a next trip in the works somewhere down the road. My philosophy is I can never get too much information to help make the next trip better, so I try to read and keep up with helpful posts and it makes my planning so much easier and smoother.

If I stayed away, I might be like some posters who have come back after a long absence and were bamfoozled with the "new" MYW tickets concept. They seem to be so lost as to where to begin since they were used to the old tickets. Well, I was lost, too, at first...but I was here when MYW was first announced and I was able to understand about them as different posters helped to unravel the mystery. Coming back to this board right after a trip is a must do...doing otherwise is not an option for me! :teeth:

Well... WOO HOO! After previewing my post, I see I'm now in double digits until the next trip...that's always something to celebrate! :Pinkbounc

I come back on after a trip. I like to answer questions that people have right after I've gotten back. The DIS :disrocks: has been such a great resource for me and given me such great info. that if I can contribute in any way it makes me happy. :Pinkbounc . Plus, I like reading other people's trip reports and opinions on everything.

I usually go away until we start planning the next one. I joined before our 2000 trip, left until we started planning 2004, left again for a year, now thinking about next year....
