I have a question and I can't seem to wait until tomorrow to post it on the appropriate board...since I figured if anyone's still awake it would be on this board

It about a hotel deposit....

My dad reserved a room at the Swan on his Credit Card and they have already charged his room one night's deposit, but I am going without him on my trip and will be using my Credit card to pay the hotel bill......my question is if they deduct the deposit that my dad has already paid on it or do they refund the deposit back on my Dad's CC and charge mine for the whole stay???

I don't know if the Swan has different policies, but if you have the card number of the card he used, you should be able to have it credited back to his account and re-charged on yours. We did same such thing in June at the Grand Floridian. I would just locate a number to call the Swan directly and ask them if you don't get an answer quickly.
