Anyone still running Windows 98SE ?

I have Windows98 SE on my computer and I can't find that place that you go into where you can check off the programs that you DON'T want to start running as soon as you turn on the computer.

I have a few that are taking up too much of my resources (causing pages to load slowly, etc.) and I want to stop them from starting automatically..

Anyone know how to do this - or even know what I'm talking about?

start, run,type:msconfig,click on the startup tab......

make sure you know exactly what it is you are unchecking......some of those files are necessary for operation.

Thank you both! Seems to be my scanner and my new digital camera that are causing the problems.. Particularly the digital camera - there's like 8 or 9 things (connected to the camera) that automatically run when I start the computer..
