I just booked a flight from Detroit to Orlando for our family of four on Spirit Airlines, for a total cost of $707. We were all set to drive down because airfare has been so high, until I found this fare tonight. Just thought I would let you know in case anyone else is still looking! Our travel dates are Sun - Sun, 2/19 - 2/26. Hpoe this helps someone out!

BOy wish I could find that now. I've been looking for last 5 days - have fluctuated between as high as $333 (today)- down to $194 (2 days aga0. Unfortunately, we were waiting to see if my (college) daugher could rearrange a mid-term exam. Didn't want to purchase tix if she couldn't. Today she found she can - yippee  - however, airfare has now jumped to either $262 or $333 depending on what time we want to leave........... :crazy2:

This is a surprise 2nd trip for my 5 yo grandson - just him, me (gramma) and daughter. Keep fingers crossed the air comes down please. Room reservations have already been made.

We are also still looking for the return trip (MCO to ROC) as we were able to snag a $99 one-way out of Rochester (Sun 2/19) this past week on AirTran. We are now just looking for a return flight for Friday (2/24). Current price is $264 each for the return. For the price for one I can rent a car and drive back to Rochester for about $220 including gasoline.
