Hi - I am (still :lmao:) considering booking my WDW hotels now through the UK site for Dec 2010.

I have reviewed the 2009 prices on both the US/UK sites and unless the US dramatically reduce their prices when they are released (or if the exchange rate changes drastically) I don't think I am going to be any better off in waiting...unless...

Have any of you benefitted from any deals (free nights/ discounted rooms) for travelling between 12/11/09 and 12/23/09???

I think (:rotfl:) I have finally decided on 8 nights at the Beach Club and then 4 nights at the poly - and I am assuming (certainly for the 4 nights at the poly which will be at peak holiday rates:scared1:) that there are going to be very few 'deals' around as it approaches the very busy period - or am I wrong?? :confused3:thumbsup2

thanks for any info!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I received the 40% pin offer for December 2009. We will be there from Dec 13 -Dec 28. The pin offer is valid until Christmas Day and rates go up!. The last three nights cost more then all the over nights combined:rotfl:

Oh well, very much worth it.

If I may ask, when did you receive this pin-code? Also, was it by e-mail or postcard? We are going in December and I am hoping that some type of discount will become available. For now, we have a AAA room-only ressie, but I would switch to a WDW package if a deal comes out.

I received a 40% discount email pin code back in January. We are using it for 12/19-12/24 this year.

We received our pin via email in Oct/08. We had reservation for that December/08 with a 40% offer as well. We have been fortunate enough to get one three years in row!

Good luck to you!

Charleyann

These dates also had a special last year for Disney Visa cardholders for free dining plus an additional small discount off rack rate. We took advantage of it and thought that it was a great deal!

I guess theses pin codes are only given to selected people?? (I assume that as I am in the UK I wouldn't get one??):confused3;)

We got a 40% off code through the mail for select dates in 2009. I used it to make a reservation for CSR Dec 13th-20th. However, I am flying in on the 12th. Since the code didn't cover the 12th, I am hoping for an AP code to cover that first night.

I believe free dining was offered for Disney Visa card holders for last Dec.

Only selected people get them and I don't think UK residents are eligible.Plus they expired already. The trips had to be booked by March 31,2009

thanks for the info!! :lovestruc

We aren't going until Dec 2010, but I was thinking of booking today (as the UK site has availability already for next year:thumbsup2), but would have held on if there was a good chance of a special deal on the US site.

But at present the UK prices for 2010 are a lot cheaper than the US 2009 prices for us due to the exchange rates, so unless the new 2010 US rates come down, we will be better off booking in pound sterling - especially if they don't give discount codes to UK citizens.

thanks ever so much for the info!!:thumbsup2
