Anyone stayed recently at Emerald Island

Just curious if anyone has stayed at Emerald Island and their opinions of the gated community. I have finally made a decision on a home and it is in Emerald Island...WOW, what a time consuming ordeal narrowing down the search!!

We stayed there last Nov. The community itself is very nice, well landscaped and looked after. We had a pool home so we didn't use the clubhouse / pool. There's a manned gate and you have take your paperwork to the clubhouse to get your parking permit soon after you get there. Just remember that every property is privately owned therefore they all differ in quality. I don't think you'd have any complaints about the subdivision itself. Hope you have a great experience.

I was there is early December. The the guards were pleasant, concierge was pleasant and the resort was clean, Tiki Bar enjoyable had a good experience.
