Anyone stayed at WIngate Inn, VA?

We will be driving from Maine in 22 more days! I have made reservations for our first night in Fredericksburg VA at the Wingate Inn. Has anyone ever stayed there? Safe area? Food close by? Nice hotel? Thanks for any input!

I checked wingateinns.com website for info on the hotel and found plenty of restaurants within 5 miles. Most of them are one exit to the south at exit 130. There's a mall and a major shopping center there with plenty of restaurant choices. Exit 133 where your hotel is has a lot of fast food places.

I don't know about how safe the area is or how nice the hotel is, though. Maybe someone else can help with that.
