Hi

Jules and I have been looking for accommodation at Gatwick this morning. We have come across Trumbles which looks very nice with some nice pubs nearby (which is always the deciding factor) !

Anyone stayed there and can give their opinion ?

Thanks

I have never stayed there and have never seen it referred to on other travel or Disney websites. However it seems to have endless reviews (often when I look at those who have reviewed it, they have reviewed no other guest houses or hotels!!)
We have stayed at Southbourne guesthouse and it is excellent. The owners are so welcoming and as we had to travel by coach to the airport they came and collected us the evening before our trip. They also leave you back next day for free. The rooms are spotless and modern and the breakfasts lovely. I had it recommended to me, and in turn have recommended it to quite a few people. I am a creature of habit once I have discovered something good, so Im going back next year. Allthough we didnt have a car, I think they do secured and unsecured parking. If you google them, you will find their website - click on a picture of the rooms - they are lovely!

We have booked Trumbles for our trip late April having seem them listed highly on Tripadvisor and checked thier listing in the AA B&B guide. Spoke to a lady on the phone who seemed really nice. Whilst thye do not do cooked evening meal there is a noce pub (apparently) 2 mins walk which accepts children.

If someone can remind me after we are back (May 12) I will let you know how things went.

:teeth: We stayed at Trumbles last April and will be staying there again this October. The rooms are very comfortable and they serve an excellent full English breakfast in the morning (continental breakfast if you have to leave before 7.00am). The owners take you to the airport (approx 10 mins) and collect you again when you come home. They charge £3.00 a day for parking while you are away and your car is kept on-site. The hotel is small (7 rooms I think) and family run. It's very clean and quiet (it's not in the flight path). Check out their website:

There are a few pubs in the village serving food for that necessary meal the night before departure. Hope this helps. I would definately recommend it.

Thanks everyone, looks good to us, will get in touch with them

I booked today, spoke to Julia she sounds like a lovely lady, so fingers crossed that it will be a good start to the holiday, thanks again for the advice

We are also booked in there on a recommendation from a friend, who says it was perfect! staying there 20th March so will (if i remember) let you know how it went! fingers x'ed!

We stayed last feb for one night and we were very happy. We had a clean ,comfortable family room and found the hosts to be friendly and efficient. Would recommend and use again.
