Would love to hear some positive reviews. We booked 3 nights in one for this upcoming July, mainly because my 9 yo really wants bunkbeds. My DH says the freeway noise won't bother him at all. My Mom said "You don't go to Disneyland to sleep"! Would love to know your opinion because I'm kind of concerned. We live in a small West Texas town, but have lived in the middle of Houston before, so I don't know.

We stayed in a Hojo Kids' Suite and really liked it :) The freeway noise was pretty loud...IF you open the patio door. If you keep it shut, the noise wasn't noticeable. When we were there the weather was unusually humid and hot for October so we had the A/C running the whole time and the sliding patio doors stayed shut.

Have a great trip! :goodvibes

We stayed in the Kid's Suite on our last visit in May and loved it!:cheer2:
We did not have the AC on that much because it was not that hot and we could definitely hear the freeway but it didn't keep us awake or really bother us. We have stayed in premium rooms facing Disneyland that had just as much noise as the freeway!
Our preference before staying in the kid's suite was the premium suites and I loved to look out the window and see the matterhorn.
However, now that we have stayed in the Kid's Suite, we don't want to stay anywhere else and it is really all to do with the space. Having two rooms is so nice!
My husband likes to stay up late watching television and now he can do that in our own king bed in our own bedroom without disturbing our children. During other times, the children can watch tv in their room while we relax in ours. Two people can shower and bathe at a time which makes getting ready in the morning or at night so much easier.
We love family vacations but for us sometimes all that time at the park with all those other people, we need a little more space than an average hotel room and the kid's suite provides that!
As I said before, we are spoiled and my husband won't stay anywhere else anymore!

Our family stayed in a Kids Suite for 10 nights in November 2009 and absolutely loved it. We live in a very quiet suburban area where the loudest noise outside are the kookaburras laughing in the early morning, and the freeway noise didn't bother us at all. As previously stated, with the balcony doors open it is very, very loud, but there were actually double doors to block out a lot of the noise.

The extra space was much appreciated, as was the extra bathroom and tv. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in one of these suites again.

We stayed in a Family suite for 5 nights and absolutely LOVED it! You won't be disappointed. :)

Do you happen to remember the room number? We were in room 618 and the noise from the wind made it impossible to get any sleep. Are the lower floors better?

Our kids' suite was on the 2nd floor. Maybe the higher floors get more noise?

Thanks so much everyone for the great responses! I am really looking forward to our trip!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the kids suites at Hojo's! We live in a small city that doesn't have too much by way of traffic, (we can hear some traffic from our windows at home, but not much) and I find the highway noise to be just fine. It is very much like much like white noise. It's not that bad at all. Very cool room, tons of space, perfect set up. Beds are soooo comfy. Keurig coffee machines, fridge, microwave, in-room safe, 2 bathrooms, pillow top beds, bright and cozy decor. 538 square feet of a great room. You will have so much fun!! Enjoy your stay!!

we stayed there last march, and will be there again this march. i LOVEEED these rooms more than ANY other place ive stayed and would never go another way! the beds are heavenly, tv is a nice touch, LOVE two bathrooms, noise was not bad at all and the rooms are so incredibly spacious!!! LOVE these rooms couldnt ever say enough about em!:lovestruc

We stayed there last year and loved it. My parents had the big room and me and my little girls had the kids room. We live in a small town in Alaska with very little night noise and it was fine for me. We turned on the bathroom fans for a little "white noise" just in case which worked out great. Previously we'd stayed in the regular rooms with adjoining doors, but it was really fun having the whole pirate thing going and the kids loved the bunk beds. pirate:
