Hi everyone!:) I am hoping to take my family to Disney in Feb./Mar. 2008 in time for hubby's 30th birthday. :cool1: Our girls would be 4 and 18 mos. at that time so we would use two double beds and a pack'n'play. We will drive (we live 8 hrs from the happiest place on earth!). It will be our first time with kids--we went to Beach Club Concierge for our honeymoon and Best Western on our offsite trip.

I would love  to stay onsite but don't think we could afford it. I saw the Radisson is a "good neighbor" resort (1.5 mi from Disney) on Deb's website. Has anyone ever stayed here? According to the site you can do a Magic Your Way package for 6 days 5 nights, kids eat free, adult buffet breakfast every day and fridge in room for $1235.

This sounds awsome to me. :woohoo: Has anyone stayed here? Any reviews you want to share? What do ya'll think?

We were considering this hotel for a short stay before we move to our DVC Resort. Then I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided against it.

I am still considering this hotel if I can manage the funds in August. I like the activities pool side, and the room size. With the mousesavers discount it made it nice and cheap. Deb on mousesavers gave this good reviews as have several others on this site. I have no idea what tripadvisor had to say but I think I would go by mousesavers. I trust that Deb knows her stuff and she was there last spring.

We stayed there twice. The first time wasn't that bad and it was for only one night. The room was okay. The second time was that bad. The pool was just plain nasty. You know it's bad when your 13, 11 and 9 year old children make comments about how dirty the water was. Both times I left thinking, "This can't be the same place that is recommended," but it was. I'd look elsewhere. We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night (we always stay off site the night we arrive), and it was so much nicer! I'd look there.

Teacher 31,

When was your last stay there? It seems like the bad reports were all at least 6 months ago and the more recent ones are good. Was your trip within the alst 6 months?

It was last June and June 2005. For us, it's just not worth trying again. The lobby is pretty, the pool 'looks' pretty, but the rest is lacking. I'm a creature of habit and I would rather try the unknown than going here again. Then again, that is my opinion. If you choose to stay here, I hope it's everything you wish for!

We're only thinking of staying here on our travel day. For a family of 5 $79 sounds like a deal......but I don't want to stay in a dirty place.

We've stayed at one of the Ramadas on travel day before and my middle daughter wouldn't sleep in the bed cause she didn't think it was clean.....at 2 am the rest of us weren't very picky. the carpet was soggy but the beds looked clean to us. :)
