Anyone stayed at Margaritaville pre FLL cruise?

We are looking at booking Margaritaville in Fort Lauderdale for our pre cruise stay in February. Just looking for someplace fun, with lots of dining options, that will feel like a vacation hotel, rather than just someplace to crash. Anyone stayed here before have feedback about it? We are planning to uber to and from the airport, hotel and cruise port - just FYI. Thanks!

Don't count on rideshare to be available in the AM at the last minute.
Pre-book, we sign up on the front desk clipboard, they may still offer that.
Ya never know.

Margaritaville is nice but more pricy.

The margaritaville is not in Fort Lauderdale but in Hollywood which has much nicer beach than Ft. Lauderdale as it’s much wider with sand to the shoreline and it has a broad walk that is just for pedestrians and cyclists all along the shoreline for a couple miles with shops and restaurants and little motels along it. It’s also not far from the port it’s just south and Ft. Lauderdale is to the north of the port. Ft. Lauderdale has the road A1A running along most of its the shoreline and its not as relaxing as it does cause a fair amount of noise pollution when trying to relax on the beach. I haven’t stayed there but am a local in broward county and we pick Hollywood beach over Fort Lauderdale.
