I see apost here about the cost but no info on the suites themselves.Just wondered if anyone has stayed there already and what was it like??Our last experience off-site was horrendous and we wanted Disney but it was too expensive,so we thought Lake Buena Vista was the next best thing.
Any info would be gratefully appreciated, thanks.

They have 2 different room types to choose from. 1 is a Queen Suite the other is a King Suite.

The Queeb Suite is described as: Beautiful suite with two queen beds and sleeper sofa. Separate living room/bedroom area with full kitchen. Full breakfast included.

The King Suite is described as: Beautiful suite with one king bed and sleeper sofa. Separate living room/bedroom area with full kitchen. Full breakfast included.

The full breakfast is described as a buffet breakfast served from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.

We will be staying there for 4 nights starting on September 18th. I will post a full report about the room when we get back....

I stayed at Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista back in May for four nights - I really enjoyed it. The place is new and clean and well kept. I stayed solo in a king suite so I was thrilled having a suite to myself! The kitchen was fully functional and new. There was a TV in the bedroom and living room. The pool was a bit on the small side, but certainly fine to swim in. The continental breakfast was good - not huge, but still fine. I usually came towards the end of breakfast, and there was always food still being served - they never ran out.

So I recommend this hotel - a very easy drive into the downtown Disney area. I really like the Hawthorn Suites at SeaWorld as well.

Thanks for replying.I am looking forward to staying there now.:)

I am back from my trip. Sorry it took so long to post. Things have been crazy at work here.

Anyway, the rooms were great. Plenty of room for everyone. My son loved sleeping on the couch bed.

The breakfast buffet had the standard breakfast stuff. Sausage, ham omlets, tater tots, milk, oj, cereal (corn pops, corn flakes), soda, coffee, bagels, english muffins, jelly, cream cheese and pancakes. All in all it was very plentiful.

However, if you are going to stay here and plan on taking the shuttle you will have some major work cut out for you. First of all the only shuttle goes to EPCOT. It goes there 3 times a day. However, it only goes 3 tmes in the morning. The it comes back 3 times in the evening. So if you want to take the shuttle you have to go to EPCOT and then transfer to whatever park you want to go to. This is a major hassle. It is much better to take your own ca and park in the parking lot.

Other than that everything was great about the room and the hotel. Plenty of towels and everything.
