I really need help I would love to hear from anyone that has stayed here. Wanna book tomorrow but just would love to hear from anyone their thoughts on the place. Thanks

Do you mean Fort Wilderness? If so, you might be better off asking on the Disney Hotels board as I don't believe many people from the UK stay at Fort Wilderness.

Ive not stayed there before but will be for 2 weeks from the 8th May :cool1:

We stayed there in 2008 and loved everything about the resort. The cabins were great, we put the 3 kids in the bedroom and we had the murphy bed in the living area - it was really comfy.

The resort is big and I was really worried beforehand as I had read that witout a golfcart we would be stuck but we never hired one and got around just fine, sometimes we used the internal buses but other times we walked and tbh it wasn't that far.

The whole area is beautiful and so peaceful, a million miles away from the theme parks, and we loved spending days in the resort. we also loved the boat to MK.

Feel free to ask any questions

It's a long time since we stayed there! If my memory serves me correctly it was 2000, so a lot may have changed since then. We had a great time. We all loved the laid back feeling of the place. Like Scottish mum we put our DDs in the bedroom and we used the murphy bed. We never had a problem getting around. The only little criticism I have is that there wasn't enough room to put our stuff, but I probably packed too much! :thumbsup2

If money was no object FW would be my first choice, love it up there. Disney on your doorstep but so far away from the Disney bubble.
