Anyone stayed and the Holiday Inn Harbourside in Clearwater Beach area?

We are going to go to the Clearwater Beach area after Orlando, and I am looking for a decent reasonably priced place to stay for DH, me and 3 kids. The Holiday Inn Harbourside on Indian Rocks Beach looks nice on the web, but I'd like to hear input from people who have actually stayed there. Some of my questions:

1. Is it clean and safe?
2. Are the studios/suites decent size for 5 people?
3. Can you really fix simple food in the "kitchenette?"
4. How far a walk is it to the beach?
5. Is it a nice beach - clean sand, etc.
