We stayed in 8602 which is a mirror image of your stateroom. You will have one HUGE verandah!
You will get lots of sun out there but little privacy. Our verandah had a full sized round table with 4 chairs and 3 lounge chairs. There was plenty of room to not only move around, but to re-arrange the furniture throughout the day.
Everyone from Topsiders eventually comes to look out the back and then see this wide open verandah. We had people asking us how to get down there (thinking it was the Deck 8 secret verandah...which by the way, is very small and not worth the effort) because they don't realize it is a private verandah. And occasionally food and napkins blow down. There was usually a CM stationed right there at a rack where they put used dishes and they were pretty good about making sure kids were behaving and not throwing food. Once parents realize it is someone's verandah they steer clear anyway. Early in the morning you can get showered when they hose down Topsiders. But it is VERY early, we were simply early risers.
The bathrooms don't have tubs...there is a drainage system built into the floor. Don't put anything on the floor when showering, it does get quite a bit of water.
There is only a double sofa bed in the living room, 2 twins or queen in the bedroom. No pulldown.
I really LOVED this location. The 4 staterooms (8100, 8102, 8600 and 8602) are in a separate U-shaped hallway which made it very quiet. We were never bothered by noise from Topsiders at all.
