I've been dying to try BC for years but I usually end up staying on-site at either Disney or Universal. I'm planning a vacation to mostly just relax and visit family in Orlando & am considering WBC Grand as I can get a great rate. We'll be going for a week at the end of June. It will be myself & my 3 kids ages 6, 9 & 11 (DH has to work). We have Legoland tix & may do a day at Universal or SW but no Disney as its just not in the budget as this is really a "bonus" trip for us. We just went to Disney in Nov for a week and did Universal last June and have been to Disney every year since the kids were little.

Is there enough at WBC to keep us busy for 5-6 days? Do you think being that close to Disney will be torture without going in? (more worried about me being upset by this than the kids). We'll probably eat at Downtown Disney a couple times & maybe head to the Boardwalk area just to get our Disney fix. It seems like lots of people mention that they wish they had more time at the resort & that their kids didn't want to go to the parks so I'm hoping that's the case for us!

Also, is the WBC Grand a good choice for a"single mom"? Just a little concerned that with the size of the pool area, it may be difficult to keep an eye on all 3 kids. Did you feel you were able to give your kids some freedom at the pools?

Finally, are you allowed to have visitors at WBC? Do they have to pay to park? I have 2 brothers that may come over for a visit.

We went to WBC last NYE and because it was chilly we couldn't swim etc. much. There is so much to do there that we plan to return next spring break and just spend the week at the resort. The place is amazing. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM me, as well.

The Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Bonnet Creek are two different resorts. WBC is a much more inclusive resort experience.

Yes, you can have visitors at WBC and no, they do not have to pay to park.
