Anyone stay at the Radisson Barcelo in Washington DC?

I got a little info on this place in an earlier post (thanks, shortbun!), but was wondering if anyone else has stayed there? We will be heading to DC during the last week of February with our boys (11 and 13 years old). Is the Radisson Barcelo a good place to stay with kids that age? Are there casual dining options within walking distance? If so, any recommendations for some good ones? Are any of the monuments or other attractions within walking distance, or will we need to take the metro to most places? We have chosen the Radisson over L'Enfant Hotel because Radisson rooms have queen size beds, while L'Enfant only has doubles, or at least that is what I have found over the hotel websites! Would love to get input on this hotel, as well as the Dupont Circle area in general. Thanks!!
