Anyone stay at the Clarion?

Hello, my husband, kids and I (and my mother-in-law) are all staying at the Clarion. I'm wondering, has anyone stayed there, and if so, how did you like it??

Where is this located???
We stayed at a Clarion by US and it was okay.

We stayed at the Clarion Universal also..... major YUCK in my opinion.

Re: Clarion at Universal.

In 2000 our car was broken into while parked at the Red Lobster about a block from the hotel. We were staying at the Clarion Universal. The hotel wasn't really bad, but the paint was worn and the halls smelled stale and smokey. Limited food options at the hotel for us.

After the break in, we've gone on-site. I feel much safer. Also, in May 2003, we drove by this area and it was really starting to look run down.

We've stayed at a Clarion before and it wasn't that great. If it were that hotel and a Comfort Inn then the Clarion would win but that is it. It is fine for a one nighter on the way down to WDW but I'd never stay there on a vacation. Are you staying at a Clarion near Disney World or Disney Land? Your signature shows two trip to Disney Land. This is a Disney World board.
