Anyone spend New Years Eve at Boardwalk?

We spent NYE at the CR with a MK view. From our balcony, we saw their spectacular fireworks. Next year, we're thinking of going to EPCOT for dinner then back to our room to ring in the New Year. My question is: What was the Boardwalk like and could you see EPCOT/MGM fireworks from there if you had a BW view room? or Beach Club? or Yacht Club? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'd like to know what the Boardwalk is like on NYE too. DH was asking about it while we were there last weekend.

We were at the BWV this past NYE. We were in Epcot at midnight and the fireworks were everywhere. There were fireworks everynight that could be seen and heard at the boardwalk. After leaving Epcot, and returning to the boardwalk, there were parties and things going on (the boardwalk). Lots of fun, but crowded. Hope that helps.
