Anyone "slightly" cheated booking ADR's?

What would stop me phoning today, instead of Friday lunchtime, for my one and only ADR? When they ask for my arrival date i could just make it 2 days earlier...or do you think they would have a way of checking up!! Has anyone ever done this (or are you not going to admit to it )

Are you staying on site? You can only make your ADRs 180 days out unless you are on site in which case the 180 +10 rule comes into play. However, if you are using that rule, I believe they will ask you for your reservation number so they can (and will) check.

Staying on-site....Arrive on 11th October, 180 days is on Friday, want to book ADR for 14th October. Wouldn't dare do it anyway...quite enjoy the anticipation of the conversation on Friday, and have booked the day off work especially to phone..........but could they check with the Virgin booking ref number?

I have never been asked for my reservation number, however I am always asked where I am staying and what date Im booked in,dont know if they use this information though to check, they might very well do.

We booked our ADR's a few weeks ago and your virgin ref number was adequate.

glad its not just me then, i get butterflies every time i call disney dining
