Anyone sent a money order to pay package

I just put the final installment for my package in the mail today to The Walt Disney Travel Co. I sent a money order....now I am worried....
Has anyone ever done this??? I am afraid if it gets misplaced it will be so harder to trace.

I have already done it so it is too late...just want someone to tell me they did the same thing with no problems

I did this with our disneymoon, and it was not a problem. Much of the money was a gift so It was easier to send the moneyorder. We did send it overnight mail (it was due yet, but I wanted to be sure it got there) with confirmation. It was no problem, it did take a few days to show up on the screen at home, but when I called it was there.

I did this on our June trip as well. No problems.

Yikes, I just put it in the regular mail???? It isn't due until Aug 15th so I have lots of time.

This is the best way to send your payments! You don't have to worry about someone hacking into your computer as you make a payment and you don't have to worry about the reservation clerk getting information wrong.

I have sent payments through the regular mail system and through UPS. The regular mail takes about 7-10 days and since I am paranoid about lost mail I usually end up calling Disney twice a day to see if they received it.

UPS has more options,so depending on how much extra cash I have I send it next day air and overnight. My money order gets there when they promise.

UPS has a tracking system that you can use to monitor where your money is. The regular mail has the option only if you purchase return reciept.

Money orders are the best for me. It saves the headache of worrying about my credit card numbers falling in someone's hands and worrying about a personal check clearing.

Just a hint-If you use UPS overnight or nextday don't do it on a Friday because the letter won't get there until Monday!(Some UPS agents will let you pay for overnight or nextday on a Friday knowing full well the letter won't get there overnight.)
