anyone seen 'the wild'?

I saw it last weekend ans was pleasantly surprised, I did think it was going to be a rehash of Madagascar but I really enjoyed it. The animation was fantastic - you could see all the hairs on the lion. The only thing missing was the mad madagascar style penguins

Sorry for hijacking your thread, Carol! I haven't seen the Wild yet - same reason as you suggest, it looks so similar to Madagascar. I think I will watch it when it comes out on DVD.

We went to see it last week. I felt the same as you Carol, that I was pleasantly surprised, having expected Madagascar 2! DS Luke really enjoyed and even helped Ryan to find his roar by roaring really loud in the middle of the cinema!

Negative point - I am still hearing 'I'm so cuddly I like you' every day. How irritating is that?!
