Anyone seen "Sulley" from Monsters Inc in WDW?

My 2 yo DD was to a party yesterday and fell in love with the "Sulley" character who made an appearance there. She has been asking for him all day long. I wd. love to be able to tell her we will see him in WDW (in Sept) but I'm not sure if that character is even there. Has anyone ever seen him there? Where?

We saw Sulley and Mike @ MGM. There's a big garage door that says Monsters Inc. right across from Sci Fi restaurant. The door lifts up and there they are. My dd was not interested in meeting them, but I've read on the boards that they will pose for pics but can't sign autographs.

We saw Sully and Mikey at MGM, they are hard to find and not always there. But the same place every time they appear. They cannot sign autographs but because they are hard to find the que is very small.

You can find them in Commissary Lane, just off New York Street and they were fab!!

Inquire at MGM Guest Services to find out when they will be available at the Commissary Lane location. As others said, the do NOT appear for very long. The suits are apparently very cumbersome and excessively hot on the CMs. They only appear in the covered location (out of the sun) and will likely have large cooling units blowing on the characters while they pose for photos.

Mike and Sulley are in the MGM 5:30 a.m. parade, which may be enough for a 2 year old.

We went to the library and checked out some videos of characters we knew we were going to be able to see. My son, who just turned 3, fell in love with Bear in the Big Blue House, and loved the Disney Playhouse show at MGM. He also liked the Mermaid and Lion King videos, but we skipped the scary parts. Toy Story videos aren't scary at all, and his favorite part of WDW was seeing Woody and Buzz.

Our 2 year old daughter and my husband had their picture with Mike and Sully in MGM and we also saw them in the parade there. She loved them! She has dark hair and had 2 ponytails so a cast member and a couple of people in line told her she looked like Boo. She loved that! You can take your own pictures and video but a cast member will also take pictures that you can pick up on your way out of the Studios (I don't remember the name) and they put "autographs" on those pictures.

We've seen Sulley at MGM too! My 7mo dd didn't know quite what to think of him, though! The photos are hilarious!

You may also want to look for a Disney Sing Along Songs video called Disneyland Fun. This video features many of the Disney characters singing and dancing along with songs while at Disneyland in California. The video is sorely dated (filmed in the 80s) and it does feature Disneyland as opposed to WDW, but it's great for introducing children to the characters. We got it for our DS2 a few months before a trip and he had NO problems with the characters whatsoever.

There are several other videos featuring the live characters, but they aren't as much fun as this one IMO. The others have beach and campout themes. The beach video has footage from Typhoon Lagoon and one of the resort beaches. The campout video is mostly Fort Wilderness.

There is a location for these characters to appear right across from the ABC Commissary which is near the Star Tours exit shop. There was a sign indicating the times of their appearances.
