Anyone seen Rod Stewart's current concert tour?

We just got tickets for next month.

DH loves the old stuff ("Maggie May"), but is not so fond of Rod's Great American Songbook stuff -- thinks he's trying too hard to come off as a cross between Tony Bennett and Harry Connick, Jr.

So, we are hoping that he will sing most of the oldies-but-goodies.

Anyone out there seen this concert this year? Reviews?

Bump- I want to know also. I would like to go if it will be the old Rod Stewart, but I'm not interested in the new crap.

I went to one of his last concerts BEFORE he went "Tony Bennett". He gave a fantastic concert but I, too am curious if he plays mostly his older music or this new stuff at concerts now.

Haven't been to the concerts but just had to add: Rod was recently here in VA Beach for a concert. DH and I were at VA Beach the afternoon before the concert. There was this very pale flabby old guy in a speedo maybe 15 feet from us. I commented privately to DH about how unattractive that look was for the guy. DH looks over and casually says, "That's Rod Stewart, I guess he can wear anything he wants." I looked again and I'll be dipped he was right! And to answer his question, no I don't think he's sexy, especially in a too small black speedo! UGH!!!
