Anyone seen "Pan's Labyrinth"?

I liked it, but that might not be saying much.

It's weird, slightly disturbing, but good.

Have to say, don't bring the kids!!!!!!!!!!!! I think some people were confused by the commercials and thought it was a kids movie.

"Dark, dreamlike and dangerous, Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth is a fairytale every bit as scary and moving as they were always meant to be."(quote taken from rottentomatoes.com)

This movie is definitely not a "Disney" fairytale. It is scary and dark and disturbing. Very much like the Brother's Grimm fairytales were written. The imagery was amazing and after a while I didn't even notice the subtitles. The closest theater showing this was over 50 miles away. It was totally worth the ride.

We saw it. I agree with everything everyone said. It was a great movie, but definitely disturbing--some parts were extremely violent. It was, however, extremely well done and really brought up some childhood memories of being scared, fantasy, etc. Definitely worth seeing, but definitely not for everyone.
