Anyone seen Flik recently?

My son would really like to get an autograph from Flik. Has he been out recently? If so which park and where? Thanks.

We saw him at Animal Kingdom either last May or May 2007.

I've had my picture with him at the AK park opening. He was in the shade close to the entry. DS caught him once just before you enter DinoLand, where the calypso band plays. There is a shady spot where characters sometimes set up and can then escape back into the store when they are done. It's totally hit and miss, though.

The only guaranteed place is at DHS - where he and a whole bunch of other Bugs Life characters appear in the 3 o'clock street party parade.

He does appear in DAK, but not consistently. The most common place to find him is in the area on the right before entering the turnstiles. If you walk by and see other characters but not Flik... feel free to ask the attendant if Flik will be making any appearances that day. If he's scheduled they should hopefully know the time he'll be out.

He was outside AK last saturday.

We saw him last year during the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. He was in the back of WS by one of the little playground areas set up for the event.

We ran into Flik in September outside the AK by chance. Earlier in the day a character handler told me that Flik no longer made appearances. I asked about Meeko and she told me to go to guest relations and have them call the character hotline and they can find out any charcter scheduled that day. We were waiting outside for Meeko and I was so happy when Flik came out, too. So stop in to guest services when you enter the park and they will find out for you. Good luck!

I've also seen Flik in the AK. There's a specific spot where I almost always see him. It's the walkway from Discovery Island to Africa, shortly past Pizzafari, on the right.

Like a PP said I've seen him quite a few times in front of the Tree of Life on the pathway heading to Africa. He's usually on the right in a shaded area, kind of across from the entrance to Camp Minnie-Mickey. I hope this helps!

Agree. This is where I saw him on a week ago Friday.

It was one of my main missions to meet Flik on our trip last week. A Bug's Life is my favorite Pixar movie, and Flik is my hero!

On our first day at AK (a Sunday), I asked at Guest Relations where I could find him. They told me he wouldn't be out that day.

The second day (a Thursday), I asked Guest Relations before the park opened, and they told me he would be out at 12:15 in front of the park entrance. So, yes, you have to leave the park to see him there.

We went out there a little before 12:15 and he was already out there. I got in line, got my picture, told Flik he was my hero, and he drew a heart instead of a dot for the 'i' in his name . I went to the bathroom after we met all the characters out there (Meeko, Brer Rabbit, Timon) and Flik left while I was in there. But after I got out and as me and my boyfriend were gathering our stuff, Flik came back out! With Princess Atta! I was so excited! So, I got back in line a second time to meet them both together

This is where we saw him on our trip in 2007. Unfortunately, my camera's battery DIED just as I was about to take the picture! This will be on my list this trip too!
