Forgive me, dear Disney Cruise fanatics, it's been FOUR years since my last DCL cruise........

Yep, September 2000 just after Magic began 7-night cruising.

I remember a ventriloquist with his not-so-dummy named CHUCKIE. They were both hilarious!

Are they still entertaining on DCL?

Anyone know the ventriloquist's name?

Or better yet, a link to a website?

Having Chuckie withdrawls, and want to try and track him down to purchase any videos they may have produced.

Was it Michael Harrison? He was the ventriloquist when we were on the Magic last year and he was hilarious. My DD11 loved him and still talks about his show. As a matter of fact, she just said something last night about hoping he's on the Magic when we go next year.

I did a Yahoo search of Michael Harrison and found his "dummy" to be named Garth.

No doubt Chuckie has advanced to bigger, but not necessarily better cruise ships since 2000!

Chuckie....where are you! ?? !!

we were on the magic last summer and saw michael harrison and we were a bit disappointed because he didn't do chucky but did a routine involving a tennis ball. his show was still very funny, but we wanted chucky.

I don't remember the dummy that's in that link.

Maybe there's more than one "Chuckie?" :confused3

I received an email from David Morgan, the ventriloquist who does Chucky.

He has a video if anyone is interested.

VHS 20.00
DVD 25.00

For further info, you can email David at

David and Chucky were *hilarious* when we saw them on the Magic in Sept 2000. It'll be fun to get his video!

Michael Harrison was on the Magic last week and did his tennis ball routine and one with a dummy named Garth--both hysterical, IMHO. He also turned a person from the audience into a human dummy and that, too, was funny! (Mike from Atlanta, you were a VERY good sport!)

I was on the May 8th cruise also and have to agree Michael Harrison is great. The show with Mike from Atlanta was so funny. At the farewell variety show he made a "dummy" out of a boy from the audience. It was great, he had everyone in stitches. The boy happened to be our tablemates son. (A wonderful family from Virginia, we were lucky to have them with us. Hi coach and family, it was very nice to meet you and I hope we bump into each other some day again)

In short, don't miss his shows, he is very talented.

We saw Michael Harrison in November 2002! I am so happy to see that he is currently doing his act on the cruise. I hope he is still there in August when we go.

He had us in stitches. We liked him so much in the Variety Show, that we went back the next night for the "kid's show" at 7:30 and then to the "adult version" at 10 p.m. That was really funny.

I thought the tennis ball bit was genious. Very talented guy.
