There is no way in heck I'm going to see this movie, but the critics say there is a good plot twist at the end. Anyone want to spoil it for me, I'm really curious!

I wanna see it! I need to ask around and see if anyone wants to go b/c I'm not 17 yet! :( but if no one does, then I'll just wait for video

My son saw this last weekend. He is 15. He said, it was a waste of money. He said, he wouldn't even rent it on video.

A couple of the college kids that I work with have seen it, and one of them walked out and got a refund, the other one sat through it, but was so drunk she doesn't remember half of it! I had never even heard of this movie until they started talking about it. Gosh I feel so old and I'm only 30!

Well, I was going to go see it this weekend as it seemed from the previews to be a bit better than your average zombie movie. I guess I'll wait and see what others think, but it doesn't sound good so far.

By saying the movie wasn't good!!!! My boyfriend and I drove an hour and a half (one way!) to see one of the nationwide sneak previews(he's a very big fan of zombie movies!). I was a little skeptical, but I'm usually game for anything once!:D I ended up loving the movie!! It's very smart, well written, and it brings up so many interesting things to think about...It's not just a movie with gore and violence that is pointless (AKA Friday the 13th, Halloween, etc.). The violence that does take place is very necessary to the story. I'd definitely be interested to hear why the previous posters didn't like the movie. The only thing I could think of is that the pacing and camera work are pretty frenetic, which is king of Danny Boyle's signature directing style. You get used to it!;) Just keep an open mind...it's worth seeing once!

so anyone going to pm me with the spoiler? or is there not one?

I have this in my DVD collection and I think it is a good film, I am really not into zombie type films.
But with a virtually unknown cast and a minuscule budget this film has done good. Being a British film think it does not seem to translate well outside of Britain, like alot of British fims/television some people just don't understand the dark humour and satire.
For me the creepiest part of the whole film was the deserted streets of London, for anyone who has ever been to any of the landmarks will know that it is crowded at the best of times and to see it completely deserted is unnerving.

In closing my film synopsis is this, essentially, 28 Days Later is a treatise on man's inherently violent nature and a meditation on the myth of a civilised society ... with zombies

I might like it then. Four years as an Air Force Brat living in England, plus many long summers there courtesy of a set of English Grandparents has left me with a love of English humor and satire :D

Grog i know how you feel... I moved here 15 years ago from Pinellas County, Florida of all places and would care to live no other place in the world!

Watch the film, the may surprise you! and then we can start the "what is your favourite "britcom" thread!
