Anyone see The Tourist?

I'm curious...the Golden Globe nominations came out today and the film and Johnny Depp are nominated...for BEST MUSICAL/COMEDY.

Is this film a comedy??? From the trailers it looked like a gritty thriller. So confused.

I think it's probably more of a dramedy than anything, and those tend to get nominated in the comedy category.

Add the girls from BamaFan's work to the growing list of people who hated it. Seriously.... I have not heard a single nice thing.

I saw it. It was not a comedy at all. More of a romantic mystery.

It wasn't very good. Johnny Depp was okay, but his acting was lacking for me. That's saying a LOT coming for me as I adore him. Angelina was plastic. She can act, but not in this.

I think I blame the director. There was one scene in particular that I would have tossed out and completely re-shot. It just didn't work for me at all and left me thinking that the director missed such a great opportunity for a terrific movie.

That, and both of the lead actors had ZERO chemistry with each other. Venice looked great, though.

Just got back from seeing it.
I liked it, .....but knew the ending from early on. It was easy to figure out.
It had a lot of funny things in it, we were LOL at a lot of places, so I guess that is where the comedy came from.
