Anyone see The Reader?

DH and I are going to see this tonight and I cannot wait. I Kate Winslet. I have a bit of a girl-crush on her and see pretty much anything she is in. Is it terribly depressing? I hope DH stays awake for it! If you saw it, did you enjoy it?

Kate is wonderful in it. The acting, the sets, the make-up is all perfect. I was totally engrossed by the film, but also found it very disturbing and have continued to think about it a lot. It also must have just squeaked by on the "R" rating.

I read this book a few years ago, it was odd, but I did finish it. I didn't realize it was a movie.

I imagine I will be, too. I am really looking forward to it. I also drug DH to Little Children - another wonderful film she was in - but he thought that was a great movie. I will hear about it for days if he doesn't.
