I got roped into taking DD to see The Pacifier today (the last movie I took her to see was Are We There Yet? and it wasn't very good) and it was actually pretty good. Lots of laughs! :rotfl:

Remy (and I) want to see this!! DH said when it starts playing at the theatre on base we can go since it isn't as expensive. I'm glad to hear it was good!!

I wanna see it! :(

We just saw it a couple of hours ago. It was really good and we all loved it. I think my mom and I would like anything Vin Diesel is in, but besides that it was a very funny movie.

We just saw it tonight. I thought it was ok, but I did laugh in some parts. My dd13 just loved it and wants to buy it when it comes out on video!

Just saw it in a packed theater.... lots of families..... lots of laughter from adults and kids. Dh and I enjoyed it -- it was fun!

How does this compare to Because of Winn Dixie? We still have not made it to see that yet, so I was just curious! :) I am wondering if a 5 year old would like it.

Thanks

My friend Tracy and I saw it yesterday and loved every second of it. It was a very good "feel good" movie.

Vin Diesel + Walt Disney Productions = SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I think kids and parents and rabid Vin-baby fans everywhere will enjoy this film.

We haven't seen Because of Winn Dixie, but we did see The Pacifier. For a five-year-old boy, I think he would enjoy The Pacifier much more (but, again, I've not seen the other one.) There is a lot of action in The Pacifier, which I think a boy would enjoy.

We took our girls and two other friends on Friday afternoon. I thought we were in for it, as the theater was PACKED (we were UP FRONT!!), and I didn't think the movie would be that good. My husband and I laughed SO hard for the majority of the movie! And, hey, Vin Diesel is nice to look at, especially with a tight white t-shirt! :goodvibes

Not to hijack this thread, but our base theater is really cheap. Kids 6 and under are free, 7-12 are $2, and adults are $3. You can even get snacks for a halfway reasonable price.

We also get free previews about every other month. The Pacifier was offered last month but we couldn't make it that day. I really do want to see it, maybe this weekend?
