Great finish. I can't believe Marco Andretti was disappointed.

A GREAT Race this year! Very HOT though. Lots of heat exhaustion in the grandstands/infield.

I'd think that if I were all of 19, in the lead and lost it by 6 one-hundredths of a second at the finish line I'd probably be disappointed as well. He'll be great though. Marco and Danica are a great future for the sport!

That was a great race. DD and I watched it. She kept saying how much more exciting it was than watching NASCAR.

It was a great one! I was there and assigned to the Penske pits.

You can spot me in this photo: Photo

I'm on the right edge of the frame. You can see me holding my camera up, my left sleeve is yellow and I'm wearing my Red Wings cap.

The New York Times used one of my photos (full page width) on the front of their sports section on Monday. MSNBC has another of my images in their current "The Week In Sports Pictures" (Photo #5): Link

Great photos Geoff.

Hey everyone. You can vote for your favorite photo of the week on the MSNBC site. One guess who I voted for. :thumbsup2

Tuned in to see the end of the race.

I can't believe he passed him like that. What a blow that must be.

I loved how Mario wasn't giving the reporters the time of day. Hello... I have two people in this and I want to watch... go away!

I used to live 1/2 mile from the track, and DH's grandfather worked for Tony Hulman, and collected many of the antique race cars in the Indy 500 Museum, so we have a long history with the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing".

Poor Marco, Micheal, and Mario. The Andretti "curse" continues . . . they've had more lead laps WITHOUT an Indy win than anyone else.

Geoff, you must have been blazing hot down there in the pits!! Love your pictures!

Yes, it was a great race! Danica better start WINNING some races soon though, instead of just "finishing well", or else she'll end up the Anna Kornikova of racing.

My parents, myself and my brother went to the race for my dad's 60th b-day and it was great.
