My DH and 5 year old DS went to see it this afternoon. My DS really liked it. My DH said it was good, not as good as Spiderman and Superman, but better than The Fantastic Four.

My inner geek is looking foward to this, DBF just wants to stare at Eva Mendes for the whole movie(running thing and no harm done)

Thanks for the positive reply. I'm really starting to like Nic Cage, DD9 thinks he hung the moon after National Treasure. I think he must be a sci fi buff, he's also executive producer on that new Sci Fi Channel series the Dresden Files (great if you haven't caught it yet, think Harry Potter for grown ups!)

My parents took my 12 year old son to see this today. My mom said it was "okay". Typical kind of action hero flick. However, my mom (who really likes Nicholas Cage) thought he was all wrong for this role.

My son is staying with my brother this weekend and I think they are planning to go see it. So when my son does get home, I'll get him to post his review. Of course he's 12 and just loves this kind of movie. lol
