Well, I posted earlier today that I was going to take my niece to Riverdance....well, long story short, we didn't make it in time!!!! (I did not have tickets in advance)I took a wrong turn that ended up delaying us due to the streets being closed for a parade!!! Gotta love BAHSTAN!!! LOL

Anyway, we ended up getting tickets to Blue Man Group instead...it was great! A bit bizarre...lol...but really fun and entertaining! My 15 yr old niece LOVED it. I think I will take Dh some night..that is his kind of show...no singing and dancing! :teeth:

Anyone see it?

Kim

I've seen them on tv, but not in person. My DH thought it was interesting.

I guess they are really good. I'd probably want to see them perform live, so I'm glad to hear a positive review.

I absolutely adore the BMG! I have seen them at least 4 times in Vegas, and I saw the Complex 2 times on its national tour...I also have all the cd albums!

They are just so much fun and very creative! :cool1:

My DH requested this as his birthday gift a few years back, so I took him, fully expecting to have a miserable time. A bunch of men painted blue....how exciting. I LOVED IT! The music was great and the show was very innovative. I was happy that we had balcony seats as everyone below us was burried in TP. Thanks for reminding me....I think it would be great fun to go again.

Glad to see this.. DH mentioned he wanted to go... I was thinking of surprising him for our Anniversary next month.

Well, I was in row 5 and BURIED in TP is saying it lightly! :rotfl: I could hear my niece yelling "Kimmie" but I could not see her in my tangled mess! :rotfl2: I was crying I was laughing so hard!

Go see it!

I haven't, but I used to have a boyfriend who wanted to take me to see them. Unfortunately, we broke up before he had that chance. ;)

Did you get splattered too? I must admit it was great fun throwing that paper down on all those poor souls below us... :maleficen

I saw them a couple of summers ago. I'd say it was one of the most entertaining concerts I've ever been to. Very innovative and fun. I would love to take DD to see them.

Nope, but I looked like an idiot wearing my poncho!!! :rotfl2: I think I may have to sit in the balcony next time and touture the people below! :rotfl:

My DH is in love with BMG. I really, really enjoy them as well. We've seen the Luxor Vegas show twice, the complex tour twice, and also the Boston and NY shows. We still need to get to Chicago, Toronto and Berlin. We just decided to see the new one at the Venetian in Vegas (it opens in Oct)

A fun souvenier is for aorund 30 bucks or so, you can buy the painting they do in the show (the spin art one) We have 3 in the closet still needing matting and framing.

Love BMG! I have seen them twice. Once in NY and once in Toronto.

Myst

My kids gave us tickets to see them last christmas. They were great. Strange but great. The show was alot of fun! :cool1:

Been there - done that - very bizzarre and entertaining
(they are creepy when they glare at you though!)
the nasty stuff that gets thrown all over those in the rainjacket section (and those to vain to put on the hood - like me) is nasty old banana! (hey where did the dancing banana go???)
