Anyone sailing 1/19/08

I know it's a WHOLE year away but I want to be prepared this time. Last year I only discovered the DISboards AFTER our cruise. I'd like to meet fellow DISers & have my kids DS 14 and DD 11 meet kids before we go. It helps build the excitement. We'll be on the Jan.19,08 Eastern and we've never done the Eastern cruise, I'd like some tips on excursions.
Also any idea how to get a certain dining rotation? I'm not sure if I've seen that on the boards before.
