Anyone run into a brick wall trying to book through CRO?

I just tried booking AAA at the Poly and was told no AAA at the end of Aug. She also told me that she did not have any standard GV rooms yet for that time and to try and call back in a month. The only thing this person said she had was Concierge. I don't know what she was talking about but I was able to book the Poly room online and now I will have to call back to get the AAA rate applied.

Anyone else have any similar difficulties?
 
Did she mean there were no rooms available with the AAA rate? There could be garden view rooms but the AAA rooms could be gone. I have been told to check back in this case.
 
I made reservations at the Poly for 8/21/07-9/1/07 several months ago and just had the AAA rate applied - saved about $600. I would definitely try calling back to speak with someone else. Let us know how it worked out. :)

No, I tried just getting her to book a room at rack rate and could not even get that. I then booked online and I will call back to get the reservation modified.
 

I made a reservation on Saturday for Cont for a garden view and she said there was nothing that week in June. We sat there for a second discussing how they could be already full and then she said "oh wait some more rooms just popped up". Then I called back Sunday to apply AAA and the first person I talked to couldn't get it to go through so he put be on hold while he called, I think, services. We were then disconnected after I was on hold for 10 minutes so then I called back and explained it to the next person. She tried and it took 28 cents off the total! So she said let me call services and I said that was when we were disconnected and she said if we are I will call you back I promise. Well we weren't disconnected but they couldn't help her either so she said she put the AAA down and today tech support would fix it and my new balance should show up tomorrow and I should call back and make sure. Well I haven't called back yet, waiting for the evening, but this whole ordeal took about 30 minutes on Sunday. I understand the new discounts and packages just came out and they are working all the bugs out but if I call back today and have the room with the discount I will be on cloud nine. :cloud9:
