Anyone rent from... or other suggestions...

I am looking into renting a condo/villa/vacation home and am TOTALLY overwhelmed at all the options and also at the possibility of getting taken advantage of. We almost always stay onsite and when we on the rare time that it has been offsite it has been at a traditional hotel so I am truly overwhelmed! We are needing to keep our cost to $1000 or under for a 10 day stay. This owner offered me a quote for under that $1000 mark. Has any one here rented from these folks and can vouch for them??? OR can someone point me to a legitimate place to rent from given our price constrictions? We are willing to drive up to a half hour to the furthest WDW park. I have been using MK as a point when mapping possible rentals. TIA like I said I am about going this route but we can't budget for onsite this time.

Have not stayed at WH but found Kathy at www.vrbo.com #256608 and we loved it. We are staying there again the end of June. It is 4 bed/3 bath with pool and game room. It is in Sunset Lakes and very short drive to parks. Faster than taking a resort bus.

We love Windsor Hills. We have stayed in a 6BR villa twice and had great experiences. It's so close to all things Disney....we find it easier to get around then the bus system.

I inquired and got tons of quotes from Windsor Hills owners. I ended up choosing to book with Vacation Strategy at Bonnet Creek. Im not sure what your travel dates are but we booked a 1 bedroom villa for 10 nights (May 23rd to June 2nd) for $1057 (includes all fees). Vacation Strategy has gotten many positive reviews here on the Disboards. They have been great to deal with and very fast (usually within the hr) to respond to emails or calls. Get a quote from them you might be surprised. We always have stayed onsite in the past this will be our first offsite visit. Windsor Hills looked OK but Bonnet Creek looked newer and they had me at "lazy river" Good luck !

We rented a condo at Windsor Palms through All Star Vacation Homes. They were great to work with. I'll vouch for them as "legit".

Not sure of your dates but we always rent from www.disneyneighbor.com and stay at WH. They also have units at Windsor Palms for a bit less money. You may be able to get close to $1,000. Good luck!

I too have booked w/ Vacation Strategy for WBC in June. They are very pleasant and helpful. I have a question about the rental agreement though. Can you PM me? We have also used Ken & Denise @ Vacation Upgrades, very easy to work with. However he may be higher than Vacation Strategy.
