Anyone Rent an Alamo Minivan??

Looking for anyone who recently rented a minivan from Alamo. We are scheduled to rent one for a week in late September.
I'm curious about anyone's experience.....what you got...if you had a choice....ease of picking up/dropping off.....long lines??

We rented from Alamo in July and was very pleased with service and the choices. We were given choices of almost every size. We choice an 8 seater Montana. It worked out great. We had 4 sixteen year old girls, two 20 year old girls(only for 4 days) and DH and me and we had plenty of room. There were even the real large vans, I think the 15 passenger ones in the row that they told us to pick from. There were caravans, grand caravans, astros, I think just about every type was there. We were very happy with the car and service that we received. We arrived around 11am, not sure if the time had anything to do with it. We had also rented a convertible from National for 1 day as a surprise for the girls and we chose one row over from the vans. So the emerald aisle concept is basically the same with national and alamo, I know they say they don't have it anymore but we got to chose. And Alamo and national cars are at the same spot. the columns, as well as the uniforms, now say alamo/ national.

That's a big help...thanks! So you walk outside, pick what you want, then go back in and tell them at the counter...is that how it works??

We rented a minivan from Alamo in Tampa this past April. We went to the counter first then went out and picked a van and drove away.

We will be using Alamo for a minivan at MCO in a couple of weeks (through priceline) and I hope it goes that way there too!

We had a great experience with Alamo .

Once you pick the minivan that you want, take your paperwork and drive to the exit. They record the info at the exit and away you go. I did notice that we were charged for the van on the day we picked it up not when we left, which I found interesting. This amount was the amount that our reservation said. We did not have any additional charges for that car.
