Anyone rent a car through priceline before?

I've used priceline for booking motel/hotels in both Canada and the US multiple times and have never been disappointed. I was thinking about using priceline to book a car on our next trip (whenever that will be!) to Disney. Anyone tried this before? TIA!

From what I understand (based on reading BiddingForTravel.com) you can usually get cars just as cheap or cheaper with discount codes without having to be "locked into" a paid booking with priceline.

Try the discount codes posted on MouseSavers.com. We had very good luck with using all three types of codes Mary explains for National. We got emerald isle service for four days at $96 back in early May. Can't beat that. Takes a bit of work to figure out how to plug everything in but Mary explains is nicely on her site.
