Anyone remember Wonderfalls?

Wonderfalls was that great show on Fox that got yanked after all of 4 episodes.

Today the full season came out on DVD, all 13 episodes. I picked it up today and can't wait to see the talking lion again.

They only aired a few episodes, but a full 13 episode story arch was filmed. Fox canceled the show before all 13 episodes could be shown.

I only saw the pilot but I really liked it. I hate when they don't give shows a fair chance, they do that with so many shows anymore.

I think I'll Netflix it!

Fox sure has a bad habit of cancelling or dropping all the GOOD shows don't they?

Buffy - dropped by Fox then it moved to WB to finish out the series
Firefly - I still would love to have a little chat with the idiot who thought it was a good idea to axe that show!

I hate Fox.. Grrrrr.

I've been keepind an eye on the release on Amazon. (Of course, I couldn't wait and went to Best Buy today. ) According to the description, only 4 episodes aired. The review of the DVD says that the full season is great and doesn't leave any loose ends. YAY!!

They did that with Firefly too. Filmed 14, but only aired 10 or so.

Not to defend Fox, but Buffy started out on the WB and was moved to UPN for the last 2 seasons. (I'm sure Fox would have killed it in season one though).
