I have a quote from RS Transport (BS Transport) but have been a little put off by the fact that they seem to have forgotten baby carseats for return journies a few times

Anyone used anyone else and are willing to recommend please? We go in 2 weeks so I need to book soon really...

Thanks :thumbsup2

PS - Should have said there will be 6 of us in total - 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby so I need to make sure they are reliable with car seats etc :)

I know there have been a few threads on this in the past. So I'm sure someone will be able to help soon. :)

Sadly it wont be me as I always eurostar.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Greyshuttle - www.greyshuttle.com. We previously used RS Transports on two separate trips – we were happy with them the first time, but the second time they forgot the child seat on both legs of the trip. The driver juggled between two mobile phones, while reading a document. We were just glad to arrive alive but obviously never used them again. Last February we booked Greyshuttle, they are more expensive but the driver was courteous, drove carefully and brought the child seat – we felt very safe with him. Might be worth getting a quote.

I have only used BS transport ( and we will RS transport next time) and we were satisfied with the service but it's just 4 adults of us and so i can't say anything about baby car seats or other similar things i am sorry :confused3

Thanks NMM will try Greyshuttle - I've heard at least 3 different people say now that BS Transport have forgotten the babyseat - it's not good enough is it. Makes you wonder!

NMM - did you do both outward and return journey with them? Seems RS/BS forget on the return journey when there isn't much you can do!

I know this sounds snooty but at around 95 euros each way, you shouldn't have to call BS the day before to double check about the carseats and even then there is no guarantee they'll remember it the next day!

Anyone else got any recs please?

Hi Patsy

Yes, we did the return trip with them and the seat was there on both trips. The cost for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) was €164 return, and well worth it. They just asked that we re-confirm by email a couple of days before leaving home at which point we got the name and mobile number of the driver. Good luck!

I used a private taxi. We were a party of 7 and he picked us up at Disney to take us back to Paris (near Eiffel Tower). we paid 120 euros. He also charges the same to take us to the airport. I don't know about the child seats as we did not need them but he is very reliable. If you need his infor let me know

Hi Patsy,
I have used greyshuttle quite a few times. They always had a baby seat when requested, but once forgot a booster seat. I have stopped using them because once they didn't show up for our return journey to CDG. I'm sure everyone has good & bad stories about each company!

Oh gosh - I'm confused now - doesn't take much :rotfl: The last thing I want is no baby seat and it's got me worried. I got a quote from Greyshuttle and they are about 20 euros more than RS.

Do you think the hotel (DLH - if we stay there lol) would call the day before for us and check/remind them about the baby and toddler/child seat if we ask them for us? I'd think their French is better than ours ;)??

I'm sure they would - whichever shuttle company you use, just get their telephone number and take it with you, along with your confirmation from them. Then you'll have all the information to hand.

When RSTransport were late turning up the DLH rang them to confirm they were on their way :thumbsup2
