Just wondering a few things:

Was it worth the money?
What ages are appropriate?
How silly do you have to get?
Do you always get to ride an attraction at the end of the tour with a Disney character?(or was that just someone's magical Disney moment?)
If you do get to go on a ride, do you get to go to the front of the line?
How long does it take?

Thanks so much. We leave in a few days and are still deciding on this one. :hyper:  ::yes:: pirate:

We did this in August (me 49, DD 28 DGS 8 and DGD 6)

Was it worth the money?

YES!!! We want to do it again next summer.

What ages are appropriate?

We had one family w/three boys drop out ... the youngest (3-4) was afraid a villain might get him, the oldest (10-12) was uncomfortable, plus it was their first day ever at MK and the kids wanted to ride the attractions. There were 6 kids that stayed the course ... the youngest was about 4 and the others were approximately 6-9

How silly do you have to get?

We sang Zippadeedodah, hopped, skipped, jumped, crawled ( through a restaurant), took giant steps, pretended to be animals, ballerinas, jet planes, etc.

Do you always get to ride an attraction at the end of the tour with a Disney character?(or was that just someone's magical Disney moment?)

I think so, we did ... Peter Pan also grabbed my grandson hand and they hopped the fence around the Liberty Bell and rang it ... after which Peter exclaimed that it was already cracked and besides William had rung it, LOL!!!

If you do get to go on a ride, do you get to go to the front of the line?

We rode Its a Small World ... enter through the exit and grabbed the next boat.

How long does it take?

Approximately two hours ... afterwards we got a "magical moment" certificate ... prior to the ride we had a meet, greet, photo and autograph opportunity.

This was a lot of fun, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not willing to play along.

Thanks so much! Very helpful info!:wave2: ::yes:: :yo-yo:

Momto2 - just back and we did the FMT and it was the highlight of our trip!

I did a small review on the Theme Parks Board (look for Family Magic Tour - Two Thumbs Way Up!) - sorry I don't know how to link it.

Memaw2Wm pretty much answered all your questions. Age appropriate in my opinion is 5 - 10 to 12. The younger ones might get bored, since you have to read and solve clues as to where to go next. However anyone with that Disney spirit would be fine.

Have you already booked the tour? I don't think it is something you can walk up to. I had difficulty getting the day I wanted about 75 days prior.

Have fun, you'll love the FMT!
