Hello,

Anyone really dined at Teppan Edo on DDP or Deluxe DDP? I remembered in the past years, this restaurant has lots of exclusions if you are using Dining Plan. For example, lobster is not included.

Now, it seems lobster has been removed from the menu, are there any other exclusions?

Any comments, experience on this restaurant welcome. THANKS!

We ate there Jan 5. There were no exclusions--we were on the regular DP not Deluxe. I had filet mignon, son had steak & shrimp combo grandson has child's meal. Ordered edamame appetizer and was billed for it (as expected).

Thank you Belle1962! How was the meal & service?

I am considering to order Hotate for my mom, since she doesn't like Japanese food too much :P

We were there Dec. 15th, on the DDP, no exlusions, the food and the service were WONDERFUL, probably the best of our trip. Their selection for kids was great.

The service and food were excellent. Our chef wasn't as "magical" as some of the others we saw but I figure that is just luck of the draw. At least we didn't have the lady who looked like she was dropping everything.

We just ate there on the Deluxe plan -- you could not get sushi as an appetizer. The tempura was not very good and the fruit tart was terrible. The chocolate ginger cake was great.

Hello Renee - do you mean only Sushi Sampler, or none of the Sushi are included for Deluxe Dining Plan?

This is what I saw from wdwinfo.com - LUNCH menu
Appetizers/Starter

Assorted Tempura (Picture) - Shrimp, chicken breast and seasonal vegetables with a Japanese dipping sauce. - $6.50
California Roll (Picture) - Avocado, cucumber, seafood mix, and smelt roe reverse rolled in sushi rice and seaweed. 8 pieces per order. - $7.50
Crispy Eel Roll - Eel and omelet. 4 pieces per order. - $7.50
Crispy Sukiyaki Beef Roll - Sukiyaki beef, 4 pieces per order. - $7.50
Edamame - Young soybean pods. - $4.50
Shrimp Cocktail (Picture) - Served with wasabi cocktail sauce. - $6.50
Sushi Sampler - Tuna, Yellowtail, and Shrimp with 2 pieces of California Roll. - $8.00
Vegetable Croquette (Picture) - Potato and vegetable croquette with Tomkatsu sauce. - $4.50

So I wonder if we can get California Roll, Shrimp Cocktail, or Assorted Tempura (oh I think you had that one).

How about Entree/Main Course?

My daughter wanted sushi and was told by our server that it was not included. I would ask maybe you will get lucky. :goodvibes

A little disappointed that you can't get sushi when you are on the DDDP. But, that's alright I can always get it at Sunshine Seasons or California Grill.
