Anyone recently back from Vistana Resorts?

I emailed them to find out about Hurricane damage and they said they did suffer damage but they were 100% operational but did not elaborate on the damage. I was just wondering how recent visitors made out. We leave this Friday the 24th.

I don't have any information on the hurricane for you, but I want to know if you know which section you will be staying in? Also, who did you make your reservation through? I am asking because I made my reservation right through the sheraton site and was wondering where we will be put next year.

My mom works for Sheraton so we got her employee discount and made the reservation through the employee number. I called them two weeks ago and they said we would be in Lakes or Cascades. I hope they stick to that. Regardless it sounds like a beautiful place and we are excited to be going to Disney. I'll let everyone know how it is. I'll take some pictures too!

I would love to be in cascades, but our reservation says sleeps six, the room size is 1300 sq. feet. So I guess I will have to wait and see. Have a great trip.

Right after the Hurricane, I had visited their site, as I am also planning a stay at Vistana for next Spring. They had a pop-up box outlining the fact that they did have some minor damage, Like maybe a few downed trees or large branches, etc. It did not sound like they had any major structural damage. I imagine that they are operating at what would be considered 100%

That is what I am remembering from what I read in their update.
