Just wondering if anyone that ordered the WDW/DL 50th anniversary t-shirts from Disney Gallery had received them. I thought they were to be shipped around 7/20; have not received mine yet. Thanks!
WDW Event Services replied to my e-mail this morning. The shirts are scheduled to be shipped this week and they should be received within 10 to 14 days.
These t-shirts were available for purchase at WDW only on 7/17/2005, the actual date Disneyland opened 50 years ago. The shirts are dated 7/17/2005 and have photos of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Cinderella Castle. There were a limited number of these t-shirts which could be purchased in advance at www.disneygallery.com. You can no longer order them on-line.
I just received an interesting phone call. Disney Special Events called to tell me that they can not complete my order for the shirts since they ran out of Childrens size S/M shirts!! Imagine my surprise!! I asked the woman on the phone how that is possible and why didn't they call me 3 weeks ago when I placed my order? Her response was "I don't know, all I was asked to do was call you to see if you want the order shipped without that shirt or cancel the whole order". Cancel the whole order.....I said ....doesn't she realize we are all planning to dress alike . I asked her if she could see if the next size M/L was available and of course she didn't know and she let them know and if it was a problem she would call me back.
Funny they didn't have a problem charging my credit card already!!
I was only disappointed in the size. I normally wear a M/L in ladies but the Adult L/XL shirt I ordered was huge. The child's L/XL shirt was also really big, in fact, I think I might be able to wear it.
Also received mine today. I ordered 2XL which was a big mistake - the shirt is big enough for a elephant I was thinking that the shirt would shrink over time but I don't think this one will shrink enough.
I got mine yesterday! They are great. They do run big though. I got a L/XL and it is pretty huge on me. If anyone ordered a S/M and it is too small I would love to trade you!
Does anyone know if they still have them in the parks/resorts? I thought about keeping the tags on an trying to exchange it if they have them when we get down in Sept. If not, it can be a night shirt I guess.

Same thing here! I am kicking myself because I almost went ahead and ordered a s/m also just so I would be sure to have the right size. Instead just went with the l/xl... because I usually by Large in my Disney tees. I hate tight t-shirts. Not going to be a problem with this one,LOL! The length I can live with but the arm and chest area is way too big. I could fit two more arms though the arm holes!
Why couldn't they have just been sized S, M, L, XL etc...like normally? It's the whole combined size thing that threw us off. So L/XL is really a XL but I was afraid a S/M would be more like a small.
