. . . have we NOT received any hardcopy 2012 points charts?

I know I can always log into the dvc website to access the point charts, but sometimes it's a real PITA, you know? I'm always thinking about our next trip - and in order to consider all the "whens" and "wheres" I need to know the points. I don't need the whole dang book, but the printed leaflet they included last year for the 2011 points has been very handy.

I'm not mistaken, right? We have yet to see any printed 2012 points charts?

Well, I don't know if I'm special for just having joined DVC but I got a packet early this week with the 2011/2012 points combined on one sheet and bound in a book. They basically are the ones you can get online printed and bound.

Our "Vacation planner" with 2011 and 2012 points in it came several months ago.

Hmmm. Weird. I've never received a 2011 "planner." The last planner I ever received was the 2010 one, with the 2011 insert. Never really thought about it after that. Maybe I'll start a thread to see if I'm odd man out!

It occurred to me today that I have never received any official 2012 points charts. (By "official" I mean printed material direct from DVC.) Not a travesty or anything - I finally got a clue and just printed the 2012 charts from the DVC website so I can refer to those when I need to for planning purposes. But apparently there are people out there who have received "official" 2012 points charts - and I was wondering if I was all alone in my lack of material.

For the record, late last year I received the 2010 Vacation Planner, and inside it was an insert with the 2011 points charts in it. Never received a 2011 Vacation Planner - not that I care too much. Maybe they don't even exist. Just wondering when, if at all, I should expect anything for 2012.

Let's hear it, DVCers! Who are the "haves" and who are the "have nots?"

Received a post card about a month ago simply stating...

"If you need to refer to a stinkin' point chart, you obviously don't have enough points. Please call 1-888-DVC-ADON for assistance."

We received our 2011/2012 planner months ago. Honestly though, I find it easier to pull up the TSS website and use their point charts. They load faster than any other page, and they are accurate.

We never got ours either. I do prefer to just pull it up online, so not a big deal-but I do like the pretty pictures in the planners! strange that some of us were missed.

I think I read in DVCNews that we will get 2 this year. The second one will be thicker with some room layouts like the original vacation planner. Then we will get the vacation planner (thick one) every other year going forward and just get the point charts yearly

The best points calculator is on David's DVCrequest.com site - I use it constantly!!
