Anyone Receive 25% Off Voucher Yet?

Just wondering if anyone has received their 25% off voucher from the 9/4 cruise. Also do you know can this be used with an existing reservation?

I called today and was told that most of them were mailed today, and some will be mailed on Monday. They are also sending them to the travel agent, if you used an agent.

All guests that were confirmed on the 9/4 and 9/5 sailings are receiving 25% discount - (even if they cancelled and didn't sail)

you must book by 12/31/04 and travel by 10/1/05. I also have already rebooked and they advised I can use it on my existing reservation just send the voucher in when I receive it.

I was told the same thing! I'm glad to hear others are getting the same story. I'm just praying that the TA I used before mails me the darn thing. I called him & gave him a "heads up" on it & he claims he didn' know anything about it - yeah right?

Only 1 ? - I assume the vouchers are in our names, right? I hope so.

Anyway, I just re-booked for the 9/27 cruise & b/c I booked w/ AAA, we're also getting a $150 onboard credit!! Not bad, huh? After the 25% disc. [yet to be received], we're paying the same as we did for the 9/4 cruise. Boy, are we glad we cancelled!

I also rec'd my full credit from DCL. Weird, instead of 2 credits [deposit & balance], I got approx. 6 different DCL credit entries to my card. They all total the right amt. though. I am sure there's a reason to their madness...

When we were "cancelled" November of 02 we didn't recieve our vouchers 'till the end of January and they were good for a year. We booked ourselves and recieved ours directly from DCL.....the people that were sailing with us had to wait for the TA to get and and foreward it to them.........

OK - what I do not understand is why are the 9/18 cruisers getting a 50% voucher when all they missed was 10 hours of their cruise when I (supposed to be on the 7 night Magic on 9/04) was only offered a 25% voucher and I missed 3 WHOLE days and 2 ports???!!! What's up with that Disney?

nancygop . . . Didn't they discount your trip and give you onboard credits -- in addition to the 25% discount off a future cruise.

The ones with the 50% off a future cruise, got no onboard credit or percent discount off the current cruise.

We haven't received our voucher yet - but I am trying to get a straight story from DCL if I can use it on my next cruise -- the 8/20/05 sailing back to Fl.

They gave me a $200 on board credit and I have not received the 25% voucher yet. But give me a break - that does not equal a 50% off voucher. Missing 10 hours constitutes 50% off - now I really know DCL is off their rocker.............

Well Melody, I'll be writing DCL if we can't use the voucher for cruises after October 1, 2005. Afterall, they wouldn't let us re-book while onboard saying that voucher was the best they could offer. I believe cruises through the edd of 2005 were typically available for the usual onboard re-booking incentive.

I have this in the 9/10 Navigator that they weren't re-booking because the voucher was the better deal. IF they re-booked cruises after 10/1/05 for the cruise before us and after us while onboard they certainly they should let us use that voucher, per their own words. Or, at least give us the onboard re-booking offer we were denied onboard.

I'm seriously having my feelings hurt by DCL if this is true about Octover 1, 2005. Several other things that I put aside while onboard compounded with this is tarnishing my view a bit.

I took little gifts to give all the hurricane weary DCL staffers at the airport greeting us and the resort on 9/7. I thought of them and their hardships. I not once corrected them when I had information to the contrary. I'd just settle it later. I think this may have to be settled later too after I receive my voucher and find out the situation.

Let me know what you find out. If we cannot within their rules and guidelines for sailing (pregnancy & newborns) travel before next October, then we will completely miss out on this voucher.

Am I reading this right??? We were scheduled on the 9/4 weeklong cruise but had to cancel b/c we could not get their in time. We finally rec'd 100% refund on the cruise but I remember the DCL rep on the phone stating that if we took the 5nt we'd get 40% off cruise fare, $200 shipboard credit....and 25% voucher for future...then they changed it to a 4 nt cruise 50% off fare, $200 shipboard credit and 25% voucher, but they said if we cancelled we wouldn't get any of it????

I guess I should call DCL to find out????

That would be so awesome if we could get the voucher b/c we really want to go back! Little one is still talking about it.

Yes, we were in the same situation. We cancelled because flight after flight was cancelled. A couple weeks ago DCL said we'd get 25% off voucher.

I love this board!!! After I saw the post I called my TA and she called DCL and they said that it was on the way. She will call me when she gets it. Sucky thing is I booked a Royal Carribbean mini cruise for my husband and I in Dec.

I guess we will see what happens, but I am super thrilled. So is this 25% voucher on the total price or just the cruise fare??? Knowing DCL it will prob be the cruise fare only.
