Anyone read the article about releasing LL attractions

Not sure if I can post the source here, but in the article it states that "However, it looks like Disney has gone back on this policy, and is now releasing ALL availability for Lightning Lane individual attractions at 7:00 AM (when only resort guests can make purchases), and not releasing additional availability at theme park opening, which means that guests who are not staying on site may not be able to purchase Lightning Lane skip-the-line passes for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which has been selling out prior to park opening."

When I initially read this I wasn't sure if it's true. Can anyone confirm?

I can't confirm, but I'd been shocked that it was otherwise. The on-site perks are almost gone, you'd think they'd want to keep all the ones they can (that are free to Disney)
My guess, they held back some just for the first few days just so that the vloggers could get some for their videos. But, now it is back to the original plan.

I haven't read the article either but I could definitely see it being true. Disney would hope that it draws people to stay onsite rather than choosing to stay off site. Is it a perk worth paying Disney resort prices? For some yes, for others no. Like shawthorne said, it's a perk to offer Disney resort stayers that is free for Disney to provide.

Get Tron and Guardians up and this is the case... it will be a strong reason to stay onsite.

30Min Early Entry doesn't sound like much, but it does get you in at least one attraction early. And Evening Hours for Deluxe guest sounds like a great perk as well... just need to expand it to the other two parks.

I have seen multiple articles on it. If it is true then I say good. Gives those staying on site a perk.

As a DVC owner who stays onsite, I hope its true, but have no clue if it is.

I haven't read the article, so I will go find it. I find it 'laughable' that one of the biggest perk of staying onsite now is being able to buy something before offsite people.
