Anyone purchaced pearl necklace cabin gift?

......Just a warning to everyone about the Mickey Pearl Necklace.....

My husband tried to purchase the necklace on board and they do not sell it....you must preorder it!!!

Don't make the mistake......I don't have my Mickey Pearl Necklace ....But we booked another cruise for '06, I hope they still have it then!!

Question...I can't tell from the Disney link...it doesn't come with the chain with pearls right? The chain is just plain gold? I *love the closeup with the beaded pearl necklace...that is the one I want!

It comes with the pearl link necklace. I just put it on a plain gold chain for everyday use. We took the pictures so you could see how it looks on a chain. It does not come with the gold chain.

Cool!!! Would it be wrong for me to order it for myself?? Dh said "Go ahead and order it"...but somehow that seems wrong! I think I will get the excursion soft carrier too with water bottles for each girl...maybe that will make me feel better! Does anyone know how far in advance you can order it? We don't sail until October!

You should not feel bad for ordering it for yourself, as Mother's we give all the time. There is nothing wrong with getting a little of what we want.

I have the Mickey pearl necklace also. It was a present for my 50th birthday from my parents, sisters and brother. It was presented to me on our first night of my first Disney cruise at dinner. Our server brought it to the table along with my birthday cake. I had mentioned that I wanted this, but never thought I would ever get it because of the cost. When I opened it up at dinner I sat there and cried. It really is beautiful. My dh sprang for a pair of mickey earrings for my most recent birthday. They were purchased at the Disney store in DTD.
